The logo reflects the location. The 101 is found at the bottom of the hill on First St in LaSalle, IL a few feet from the railroad tracks where patrons enjoy the thrill of the train rushing by.

We serve the Illinois Valley favorites like pork tenderloin, fried chicken family style, and broiled cod with drawn butter. Customers also love our specialties like hand battered pepper rings, Lyonnaise potatoes, and our bacon-wrapped Scottish salmon.

Sip on a martini while Dean Martin croons from the jukebox.Patrons often order a Manhattan cocktail before dinner and finish with a Brandy Alexander or Grasshopper ice cream drink for dessert. Socialize at the bar, dine with a group, or cozy up in a booth but always come for the fun at the 101!

Formerly Monari's 101 Club in LaSalle, IL. The 101 has been a family-owned for generations. The Monari family purchased the 101 Club in 1952. When they retired and closed their doors on April 1st, 2015 locals hoped it was an April Fool’s joke.

Exactly two years later on April 1st, 2017, Donnie and Ellen Moore reopened the 101. Donnie grew up in nearby Oglesby, IL where his parents founded the Rootbeer Stand.

The 101 Supper Club, serving steak, fish, ravs, spaghetti, pork tenderloins. Eager to pursue a career in the restaurant biz, he studied restaurant management, worked at the Starved Rock Lodge as a bartender and floor manager, and then moved to Colorado where he continued to work in the hospitality industry in ski and resort towns in the Rockies.

Now married to a Colorado native, Donnie brought his wife Ellen to the IL Valley to fulfill a dream to open his own restaurant and continue the Supper Club tradition.

First time back last night and the only thing I would change is..nothing! It was excellent. We got the pepper rings as an app with the choo choo sauce (sweet and spicy) and I had my old stand by of broiled chicken. It couldn’t have been better. We felt very welcomed and had excellent service just like before. So happy this place went from the hands of one great family to another. Julie Danielle

The fried chicken was perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Prepared simply so you can really enjoy the quality of the ingredients. I ordered the half portion so I would have some leftover.  It was still crispy the next day! Bonus: The hot food is served piping HOT and the salads are COLD and crisp. Left the restaurant with great memories and a happy tummy! We got the fried pepper rings for an app and they were sooo good! I also got the bacon wrapped salmon with mango sauce which I highly recommend! I can’t wait to go back and get the Pesto pasta! The sample of the sauce I got last night sold me! We stopped in for drinks and supper and I used to go there 65 years ago on Friday night for fish with my parents! Still remember how much fun we had there and it did not disappoint! Great bartender and great food! SA Edgcomb
